About Us {KCGF}
Kenyan Child Guardian Foundation (KCGF) was founded after Dickson Wambugu and Len Vanderstar (co-founder) traveled to rural areas of Kenya, witnessing the hidden suffering of the most vulnerable children. Armed with determination and confidence, KCGF sees a better future for these children. By providing proper health and education, self-empowerment results which in turn contributes to societal behavior changes; many of these children mature and serve to be agents of positive change for their villages, one child at a time.
Objectives
As an organization, our goal is to see that each child's rights are safeguarded. All children have a right to a proper education, care, safety, love and a place they can call home. It’s our goal to restore back a smile in every wounded child.
Our Mission
Identify a Kenyan child whose has been neglected and whose hope has been shot into pieces. Our mission is to lift children from a place of hopelessness to personal achievement. We seek to transform the lives of many neglected Kenyan children, either orphaned, abandoned, desperate or impoverished, and raise them with proper medical care, nutrition and quality education to become change leaders, serving their respective communities.
Vision
The Kenyan Child Guardian Foundation seeks to provide sanctuary, relief, education and empowerment for underprivileged and disadvantaged children. In so doing, a stronger and healthier society emerges, making the world a better place.
